As a member of Candid.org’s nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and nonprofit agencies, Sawyer Free Library provides visitors with free public access to Candid’s electronic databases, The Foundation Directory Online, Foundation Grants to Individuals Online and Foundation Directory Online Essential. Here’s a description of each one:
A searchable database of 140,000+ U.S.foundations, grantmaking public charities, and corporate givers, including sponsoring company information. Additional program information and expanded application guidelines for larger funders.

A searchable online database of more than 6,200 foundation and public charity programs that fund students, artists researchers and other individual grantseekers.

Candid is now providing a way to access Foundation Center databases, directories, fundraising and philanthropy publications, and training resources from a single link.
To use this resource, you must register for a 24-hour pass. You can request a pass once every 30 days. Here’s how:
