Museum Passes
The Sawyer Free Library is proud to offer museum passes to many local cultural attractions.
Our museum passes are generously provided by the Friends of Sawyer Free Library.
COVID-19 UPDATE:
Museums vary as to when they are reopening. In addition, many of them are requiring timed tickets when they do reopen. Discount passes can sometimes be used with timed ticketing. Before you request a museum pass, we strongly recommend that you check with the individual museum to check whether they are open and to make sure they are accepting the discounted passes at this time.
Reserving a Museum Pass
Passes may be reserved up to thirty (30) days in advance online, by phone, or in person.
It’s easy to reserve a pass online. Have your library card ready, as you will need the fourteen (14) digit bar code to reserve your pass online. You may also see what passes you have reserved and cancel reservations by clicking My Passes. Discounts vary by museum. For more information on what discounts are offered by specific museums, click on the pass reservation system.
To reserve by phone, call 978-325-5500. Remember to have your library card ready.
To reserve in person, simply stop by the Main Service Desk.
Picking up a Museum Pass
You may reserve and pick up physical passes when the library is open. Digital museum passes will be delivered to the email address that is attached to your patron account.
Returning a Museum Pass
Physical passes can be returned to the library when the library is open or in the book drop. Digital passes are delivered by email and do not need to be returned to the library.
Additional Information
A valid card from any NOBLE library is required to reserve passes.
Only one pass may be reserved per day with the exception of the MFA and Isabella Stewart Gardner, which can be borrowed together on the same day.
