Get a Library Card
Get a Library Card! Two Easy Ways
1. Apply for a Library Card in person |
|
|
Stop by the Main Service Desk to present identification and proof of residency. Proof of residency can be a driver’s license, utility bill, or other non-personal piece of mail addressed to you. If you are a student, we will need to see your student ID or your most recent school schedule. You will select a PIN to access your online account and for reserving museum passes. That’s it! We’ll give you a card right away!
2. OR If it’s difficult for you to come in, you can apply for a library card online or by mail Here’s what you need:
OR Mail a library card request with all necessary documents to: Attn: Circulation; Sawyer Free Library; 2 Dale Avenue; Gloucester, MA 01930
*If you are unable to provide identification and proof of residency, we can still provide you with a Local Use Only card. With this card you will be able to use the digital and print resources from Sawyer Free Library only. You will not be able to check out devices or use the resources of any other NOBLE libraries however. To receive a Local Use Only card, come to the Main Desk and give us your address. We will mail a postcard to you and when you return it to us that will serve as your proof of residency. We can then give you a Local Use Only card until you can supply more required identification.
