Home Delivery and Community Engagement & Outreach

Home Delivery and Community Engagement & Outreach extends services and programs beyond the library’s physical and virtual spaces to offer equitable access to information and resources.

About Home Delivery

When getting to the library is not possible, let the library come to you! Sawyer Free Library provides free home delivery to residents of all ages who are unable to visit the library due to special needs, illness or disability. We’ll make sure to get something delivered that matches your interest.

How does Home Delivery work?

  1. You are welcome to request items by calling Meg O’Neill, Community Librarian, at 978-325-5562, emailing moneill@sawyerfreelibrary.org or submitting our Application for Home Delivery Form.
  2. Please have your SFL library card number handy. If you do not have a library card, you can apply for an eCard here or call 978-325-5500 for assistance applying online. If you are requesting home delivery with an eCard, please contact Meg O’Neill at 978-325-5562 to make arrangements to upgrade to a full card. A physical address is required. ECard holders may request physical items, but a full card is required to check out physical items and for home delivery.
  3. To return items, please contact the library and we will arrange for pickup.

If you would like for us to recommend titles that fit your personal reading preferences, please use our Personalized Reading Recommendation Form.
