Cape Ann Animal Aid * – There are many ways you can help. Check out CAAA’s Help from home volunteer opportunities.*Cape Ann Animal Aid – age requirements Unless otherwise noted, children must be at least 10 years of age to volunteer. While they are between the ages of 10 and 15, children must volunteer with an adult.

Cape Ann YMCA – Our Y welcomes all. We strengthen communities, educate and nurture children and promote healthy living in spirit, mind, and body.

Habitat for Humanity – Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the United States and in more than 70 countries around the world. Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

National Park Service – You can make our great places better. Become a VIP and volunteer with us today.

The Open Door – Food pantries and soup kitchens can always use a helping hand organizing a local food drive, raising money, or simply handing out hot meals to those in need. We have regular volunteer positions available for people with various levels of experience, interests, skills, knowledge, and time. Download application here. 

Red Cross – Volunteers carry out 90% of the humanitarian work of the Red Cross. 

Seacoast Rehab and Nursing Center  or Gloucester Health Care– Nursing homes rely on volunteers to interact with their residents. They need volunteers to provide company for residents and assist with activities, card games, and bingo nights. Activities run by volunteers are an integral part of bringing the feeling of home to the nursing home.
