Memory Donations & Planned Giving
The Sawyer Free Library is pleased to accept donations to purchase books or other material to honor the memory of a departed friend or family member. You may send a check to the library to the attention of the acquisitions department with any purchasing preferences. We will place a bookplate in the purchased material with the donor and honoree names. We can notify any family members of your donation if you desire.
The Annual Appeal is the most significant fund-raising event of the year. This special event provides library supporters with the opportunity to contribute a financial donation as part of a larger fund-raising effort. The gifts from the Annual Appeal make up a critical part of the library’s budget, permitting it to make capital improvements and to fund myriad programs and events.
Individual gifts, in the form of direct contributions to the library or through bequests, can be made at any time. You may also donate to the library online. The library has been fortunate to received assistance from some generous benefactors. If you would like to discuss a possible gift, you may contact the director, Carol Gray, at 978-281-9763, ext. 13.
