The Children's Library has books, audio books, DVDs, videos, CDs, music CDs, kits, and magazines.
Our monthly programs during the school year include Pre-school Story Times Monday - Thursday mornings. There are also special programs and events for children and families featuring a wide variety of performing artists.*
The Sawyer Free Bookaroos, a group of parents and children, meet on the last Thursday of every month for good food, good talk, and good books. The Afterschool Book Group is held monthly on the first Tuesday. Call 978-281-9763, x. 18 for more information. We have computers with internet access and educational software for children.

*Constance T. Rhinelander Performance Fund
This fund is supported by the family of Constance T. Rhinelander, a Gloucester resident who was devoted to 13 grandchildren. The fund is the library's principle source of literary and cultural programs for youngsters.
Thousands of children have benefited from a great variety of performances made possible by this fund in Mrs. Rhinelander's memory.
