Get the Smart Card! Studies show that children who are read to in the home and who use the library perform better in school. Library cards are free. Sign up for yours today in the Children's Library.

The Children's Library has books, audio books, DVDs, videos, CDs, music cassettes, kits, and magazines.
Our monthly programs during the school year include Pre-school Story Times Tuesday - Friday mornings. There are also special programs and events for children and families featuring a wide variety of performing artists.*
The Parent/Child Book Group meets on the last Thursday of every month for good food, good talk, and good books. Call 978-281-9763, x. 18 for more information. We have new computers with internet access and educational software for children.

*Constance T. Rhinelander Performance Fund
This fund is supported by the family of Constance T. Rhinelander, a Gloucester resident who was devoted to 13 grandchildren. The fund is the library's principle source of literary and cultural programs for youngsters.
Thousands of children have benefited from a great variety of performances made possible by this fund in Mrs. Rhinelander's memory.
